If you’d like to play Warface, and can stop giggling at the name ‘Warface’ for a few minutes, signups are now open for the closed beta test of Crytek’s free-to-play PC shooter. Crytek’s also blasted out a new trailer showing off Warface’s player classes, and a nice stompy robot.
To sign up for the closed beta, hold your breath and head over to the official site. Crytek says it’ll announce the beta’s start date “during 2012”–which isn’t overly helpful as that’s the same release window it previously gave for the game itself.
Set in some dusty near-future theatre of war, Warface packs both cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes.
