Ace Attorney 5 & Ace Attorney HD announced

Capcom’s long-running courtroom adventure is getting yet another installment. The publisher announced a fifth entry to the Ace Attorney series, in celebration for the franchise’s 10th anniversary.

The publisher announced a fifth entry to the series, in celebration for the franchise’s 10th anniversary.The franchise made its North American debut in 2005, and had many fans pointing their fingers in the air yelling “Hold it!” While the franchise got its start on the Game Boy Advance in Japan, the games have primarily launched on Nintendo DS here. Capcom didn’t reveal any details on protagonist, platform, or timing for the next Ace Attorney game.The first three games, which feature Phoenix Wright, will be getting updated on Android and iOS. The mobile port is being remastered with “higher resolution artwork,” according to Andriasang. Anyone that picked up the earlier revisions of the game will be able to downloaded the HD update for free.Here’s a screenshot of the high-res sprites in action:
