Pokemon + Nobunaga’s Ambition just wasn’t enough. And so, Nintendo and Tecmo Koei are continuing their bizarre collaborations. How about Dynasty Warriors x Zelda? Dynasty Warriors x Metroid?

The upcoming Dynasty Warriors VS for 3DS (not yet announced for US release) will include special costumes that will let your character look like Link from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and Zero Suit Samus from Metroid: Other M.

Famitsu has the first images of the two heroes in typical Dynasty Warrior action: cutting down dozens of foes. Andriasang notes that it’s currently unclear if these bonus costumes are “included with the game or released as download content,” given 3DS’s newfound DLC support via the Nintendo Network.
