Resident Evil Chronicles HD coming to PS3 this June
The Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles are coming to the PS3 in one package, titled the “Resident Evil Chronicles: HD Collection.” The bundle will be available for download via the PlayStation Network this June.

Capcom is converting its two formerly Wii-exclusive Resident Evil rail shooters into PlayStation Move titles. The Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles are coming to the PS3 in one package, titled the “Resident Evil Chronicles: HD Collection.” The bundle will be available for download via the PlayStation Network this June, while the individual games will be available “at a later date.”
Like so many other Wii ports on PS3, PlayStation Move use is optional. You’ll be able to play the shooter with a standard PS3 controller as well.
Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles is based on the events of Resident Evil 0, 1, and 3–largely retelling the stories of these games from a new first-person perspective. You’ll play as eight characters over the campaign: Rebecca Chambers, Billy Coen, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Carlos Oliveira, Albert Wesker, Ada Wong, and Hunk.
Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles is based on the events of Resident Evil 2, Code Veronica, and tells a new story that happens before the events of Resident Evil 4. You’ll play as Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Jack Krauser, and Steve Burnside.
