The Darkness 2 demo out for all on PC, Xbox 360, PS3
The Darkness II’s demo is now available to all and sundry on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, having previously been exclusive to Xbox Live Gold.

Having been offered up exclusively to Xbox Live Gold members last week, a ritual demonstration slice of demonic shooter The Darkness II is now available to all manners of minions and fiends on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. As well as letting you see just how The Darkness 2 plays, 2K has also unleashed something showing nothing of the sort: the cinematic launch trailer.
Though the demo is mostly a scripted intro with plentiful cutscenes, to introduce the story, it’ll take you a good half-hour to shoot all the faces and devour all the hearts–longer if you enjoy messing around with your shiny new tentacles.

The Darkness II is developed by Digital Extremes, not Starbreeze like the original, and published by 2K Games. It’s creeping onto PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on February 7.
