THQ and sportswear company Adidas have settled their dispute out of court. Adidas filed the suit in its home state of Oregon, accusing THQ of breach of contract for failing to produce the “miCoach 24/7” exercise game. Now situation has been “amicably resolved.”

“Adidas and THQ Inc. have amicably resolved the dispute, which will allow Adidas to get the miCoach game to market without delay and without compromising any of its unique features,” said Adidas’ Frank Thomas, to Gamesta (via Edge). “Through the settlement, each party was recognized for and compensated for their important contributions to the game.”

The terms of the settlement aren’t exactly clear, but it sounds like Adidas itself will be publishing the game. This is also supported by a THQ rep stating that the company won’t publish miCoach. This should serve as some relief for THQ; even if the company had to pay for the settlement, it probably wasn’t the $10.6 million Adidas was seeking in the suit.
