March 9, 2012 6:10 AM2As MMA supplants boxing as the man-punching sport of the masses, more and more games are bringing the experience of sweaty men grappling to your living room. Publisher 345 Games today announced Bellator: MMA Onslaught, based on MMA organization Bellator and developed by Supermacy MMA maker Kung Fu Factory.MMA Onslaught is taking an arcade-y approach, with 345 General Manager Dan Yang saying in the announcement, “It was imperative that we create a mixed martial arts game accessible to all types of players not just the hard core MMA fan.”On the single-player front, it’ll pack a ‘Path to Glory’ career mode to level up through, single-elimination tournaments, and one-off bouts. Naturally there’ll be local multiplayer, plus online ranked matches with leaderboards. Topping the rankings will apparently let you be “immortalized in upcoming Bellator fights live on-air” in some way.Fighters from Bellator’s roster will feature in the game, and be playable in local matches, but you’ll get to create your own pugilist, customizing their style, moves, and appearance.345 also promises it’ll “update the game with new moves and styles, weight classes, fighter selections and additional content.”Bellator: MMA Onslaught is coming to Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network this summer,
